Just a quick reminder for all our visitors - make sure to pack your sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water, and don't forget to wear comfortable footwear. By gearing up with these essentials, you're all set for a day filled with fun under the sun!

June 10-Aug 2 - Lakes Park Summer Camp begins

August 12th-October 1st - Train will run on the weekends only
October 8th - Halloween Express preview
October 11th-27th - Fall Festival & Halloween Express

 

Summer Camp has been a great success ao far this year!
 

A big thank you to Dan Flavin for taking the time to teach the Summer Camp kids about compost worms and how they work. It was an amazing hands-on experience for the kids! Thank you, Dan! You’re one of the many reasons why Lakes Park is so special!!

Bird Patrol Led Nature Walks
1st Saturday of every month!


Bird & Nature Walk  at Lakes Park every First Saturday, of every month!
The tour is FREE with paid parking | Parking is $1/hour or $5/all day
WHEN? 8 am Please arrive a few minutes earlier | walk starts promptly at 8 am
Meet at Shelter A7 located near the Train Station
Bring water, binoculars & sunscreen
Please wear comfortable shoes ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ & dress for the weather

GARDEN NEWS

At Lakes Park, we offer the perfect opportunity for you to take a stroll in one of our stunning gardens. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our gardens are meticulously maintained and provide a serene atmosphere for relaxation and reflection. Take in the fragrant flowers, the vibrant colors, and the tranquil sounds of nature. It's the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate your mind and body. Come visit us and experience the tranquility of our lush gardens for yourself.


Children's Garden

Unleash your inner artist by painting a rock and adding it to our whimsical "Cooper the Caterpillar" collection - let's help Cooper grow together! Fancy a game of Tic-Tac-Toe? Or perhaps birdwatching is more your style? Take a peek at our new birdbath and see if you can spot Mama Bird in her birdhouse! Our picnic tables, now sporting a fresh coat of paint, beckon you for a fun-filled day outdoors.
Fun activities for every age!

Community Garden

Thank you to the gardeners who have allowed us to plant sweet potatoes over the summer months with Gardener Dave planting, tending and harvesting them in the fall. The sweet potatoes will be donated to the Community Cooperative.


Fragrance Garden & Succulent Garden

Be sure to take a walk through one or all of our gardens!
