Wanted: Scarecrows in the Park Ambassadors for the Lakes Park Fall Festival
Scarecrows Ambassadors are needed from October 12th – 28th, 2018, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lakes Regional Park 7330 Gladiolus Drive Fort Myers, FL 33908
Volunteers are needed to serve as Scarecrows in the Park Ambassadors at the Lakes Park Fall Festival. Scarecrows Ambassadors will be stationed at the Lakes Park Enrichment Foundation’s table at the entrance to the Scarecrows display area.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Hand out tokens and ask people to vote for their favorite Scarecrow in the People’s Choice Awards.
2. Periodically clear the voting buckets and record the number of votes for each display.
3. Keep Scarecrow displays free of trash/debris
4. Be friendly and fun with guests visiting the Scarecrow displays.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You are a registered Lee County FL Volunteer – or just fill out the registration form when you arrive
2. You are comfortable talking to and interacting with the public
3. You can bend over to pick up trash or the voting buckets
4. You can count poker chips and write down totals for each voting bucket
