Scenes from Lakes Park Garden Day, Feb 17 2018
We had a wonderful morning in the gardens yesterday. The day was full of fresh air, sunshine, and educational opportunities.
From 8:00 AM until noon, folks stopped by to sample the herbal tea, learn about best practices for gardening in Florida, and gain a deeper understanding of the local environment. People also dropped by the Children’s Garden to search for their bricks.

Our friends at the Train Museum kindly allowed the use of their facilities for presentations about seeds and invasive species. Garden tours were offered by the EZ Rider and on foot. Hands-on teaching occurred in the Community Garden. Check out the photos to get a sampling of everything Garden Day had to offer.
Many thanks to our partners for their continued support of this annual event. Your participation makes this event happen!
