Lee County’s Lakes Regional Park Farmers Market to return this month
Fort Myers, FL, Oct. 2, 2020 – The weekly Farmers Market at Lee County’s Lakes Regional Park, 7300 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers, will open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday beginning Oct. 7 and continuing through April 2021. The market will operate in “grab and go” style, practicing safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Operated by Local Roots in cooperation with the Lakes Park Enrichment Foundation, the Farmers Market features fresh local produce, seafood, cheese, meat, flowers and more. The Foundation will offer plants propagated by volunteers from specimens grown in the Lakes Park Botanic Garden.
Parking is free for market shoppers, who are encouraged to bring their own re-usable bags. Shoppers are encouraged to follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines. Find those guidelines here
